Zonta Club of Cortland Seeking Nominations For 47th Annual Woman of Achievement Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the Zonta Club of Cortland’s 2026 Woman of Achievement Award, the organization has announced. The award recognizes a woman who has improved the lives and status of women, girls, and children through paid or volunteer work. A winner will be announced on May 3 at the celebratory luncheon hosted by Zonta at the Center for the Arts of Homer.

Those wishing to submit a nomination for Woman of Achievement can find the nomination form at the YWCA of Cortland’s office on Clayton Ave, libraries within Cortland County, or by reaching out to Tracy Hartnett at (607) 423-4198. You may also find the nomination form online, HERE.

All nominations must be submitted online or post marked by March 7. Nominations may be mailed to Zonta Club of Cortland, PO Box 683, Cortland, NY, 13045.

According to Zonta, the award was created in 1979 with the luncheon serving as a way to recognize outstanding women in the community, as well as a vehicle to raise funds for agencies and programs supporting women, girls, and children.
