YWCA Says There Are Still Children Who Need Gifts in Our Community

The YWCA of Cortland says there are still children who need gifts in our community and residents have an opportunity to make their holidays merry and bright.

The mentoring program by the YWCA, Bridges for Kids, works to help families within our community to provide holiday gifts to children in need. The program this year looks to provide 270 children with gifts, but there is the possibility that some children may not receive any presents if their tag isn’t picked from the Giving Tree located in the YWCA of Cortland lobby.

Unwrapped gifts are due to the YWCA before 7pm tomorrow, Friday, December 15th. For those who cannot shop and drop off gifts, monetary donations are always welcome to help purchase gifts and support the mentoring program. You may learn more about the program HERE.
