One resident of Morris said it looked like the whole town turned out to remember the life of Jacelyn O’Connor at a Monday night memorial service.
The 11-year old girl was killed a week Sunday in Chenango County.
The memorial service was in front of the Morris School.
Friends and neighbors wore pink and red, Jacelyn’s favorite colors. The school made grief counselors available.
Tobias Runstrom-Wooding, 34, and James Brower, 36, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with her death.
O’Connor was the half-sister of Brower’s sons.
