Wrong Way Driver Faces Many Charges

Going the wrong way on Main Street in Cortland at 2 am caught the attention of Cortland Police.

That is why Xiomara Jimenez, 38, of Yonkers was stopped early Sunday at 2 am.

Police say she didn’t have a license, offered a forged passport as an ID, and was driving drunk, despite a previous DWI conviction.

Lt. Rick Troyer says the charges she faces include: unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, going the wrong way on a one-way street, DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08%, criminal impersonation, no license and offering a forged instrument, that passport.

Jimenez was arraigned and is in the Cortland County Jail.
