A date has been set for when the work on Main Street in the City of Cortland will begin. During the City of Cortland Common Council meeting last night Cortland Mayor, Scott Steve, said work is expected to start up on Monday, April 15th.

Work on Main Street will continue with construction crews replacing all sidewalks and curbing on both sides of the street. Work will also include repairing additional utility vaults, converting the street to two-way, and installing new street lighting and traffic control lighting. Vault work is expected to take place all summer.

Main Street is anticipated to be fully completed by Labor Day this year in early September. The latest updates on Main Street work can be found at CrownCityRising.com.
