Work Continues on Sidewalk Removal on Main Street – Side Streets Reopen

The process of removing sidewalks on the eastern side of Main Street between Clinton Ave and Central Ave continues as part of the Main Street reconstruction project. On the other side of Main Street, the installation of new street lighting bases and fiber optic conduits continue.

Clayton Ave has once again opened to thru traffic from Main Street. Construction crews have been in the process of regrading Main Street. Progress is reportedly to be ahead of schedule with an anticipated completion date of Labor Day this year.
