Wood chipper stolen from property on Tompkins Street

City of Cortland police are looking for a suspect who recently stole a $20k wood chipper from a property on Tompkins Street.

The owner of the equipment has put up a $2,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Investigators say the wood chipper was taken between 5-9 pm on September 14, using a black full-size pickup truck last seen traveling eastbound on Tompkins Street toward the downtown area.
