CORTLAND, N.Y. – After 110 minutes of soccer that ended in a 1-1 tie, the Wesleyan women’s soccer team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Div. III Tournament by virtue of winning a penalty-kick shootout, 3-1, at nationally 20th-ranked Cortland on Saturday afternoon at Holloway Field. The Cardinals (8-5-6) move on to face fifth-ranked Messiah on Sunday at 1 p.m.
