Late Monday afternoon, around 4:45 pm, a complaint came in of a reported larceny that had taken place at Walmart in the Town of Cortlandville.
Officer’s from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the store and were later able to determine that 27 year old Ashley M. Reid of Cortland, stole merchandise from Walmart while in the presence of a minor.
Sher was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both Misdemeanors. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and processed before being released on her own recognizance. Reid is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
