Woman Arrested After Crashing Vehicle While Impaired on Drugs

On Sunday (May 1) Cortland County Sheriff’s officers responded to the area of Route 41 in the Town of Solon for a property damage vehicle accident.

During the investigation of the accident officers determined the operator Lori-Anne Henry had been involved in the single car vehicle accident in which she drove off of the roadway and damaged private property.

It was also determined Henry was driving the vehicle while impaired by drugs. She was also found to be in possession of narcotics.

Henry was arrested and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and released with appearance tickets. She was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, Driving while ability impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors, and speed unreasonable and imprudent, crossing hazard markings, and unsafe tire, all traffic infractions.

Henry is scheduled to appear at the Town of Solon Court on May 25th.
