Expired: Winter Storm Warning Through Tomorrow Morning

This Winter Storm Warning has now expired.


The National Weather Service Has issued a Winter Storm Warning in effect until tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 5am.

Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with localized amounts up to15 inches over the higher terrain, south of the Thruway.

Warning for Cortland, Northern Oneida, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Madison, Southern Oneida, and Tompkins Counties.

Plan on difficult travel conditions. The heaviest snowfall is likely to occur this afternoon and early
evening. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
