The National Weather Service (NWS) in Binghamton has canceled their Winter Storm Watch for our area thru Tuesday afternoon. The NWS originally said heavy snow was possible in the Cortland area, but due to a shift in the path of the storm, Cortland will see barely an inch of snow.
The NWS says high snow totals are possible in the Catskills Region, with localized accumulations up to a foot. Original reports by the NWS had Cortland possibly getting up to 7 inches of snow. Binghamton is expected to see between 3 and 4 inches of snow and Scranton could see 8 inches plus.
