The National Weather Service reports winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

The advisory for Cortland, Onondaga, Sullivan, Chenango, and Delaware and counties.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.


In a press release sent earlier today NYSEG and RG&E are preparing for the strong winds that may bring down power lines. They’re readying crews and equipment.
