Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded for a welfare check at the Grace Brown House on Homer Ave. in Cortlandville on Friday, September 29th just after 5pm.
During an investigation, officers determined 28 year old Michael E. Adams of Moravia, was in possession of a small amount of drugs.
Adams was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, a Misdemeanor. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on an appearance ticket.
He is due in Cortlandville Town Court later this month.
