The war memorial and surrounding sidewalk area at Dewitt Park in the City of Ithaca was vandalized sometime in the overnight or early morning hours on Sunday, May 14th.
Ithaca Police are investigating the vandalism where vandals spray painted several shapes, words, and graffiti tags. The suspects are currently unknown by police.
IPD is asking anyone who may have any information that can aid police in the investigation to call the Ithaca Police Department Tip-line at 607-330-0000.
