Around 7:30 Wednesday evening, officers from the Ithaca Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of Route 13 South at the intersection Route 13A.
The driver of the vehicle was observed by officers and known to officers to be wanted for a stabbing that occurred earlier this month in the City of Ithaca. IPD officers arrested 27 year old Christopher Daniels of Ithaca and charged him with Assault in the 1st, a Felony.
Daniels was taken to Ithaca City Court for arraignment and then remanded to Tompkins County Jail. Assisting the City of Ithaca Police Department was the Tompkins County Sheriff.
