The Cortland Rural Cemetery Board of Trustees is welcoming a new member to its ranks.
Sarah Walter is originally from the Cortland area and returned there after living in the Pacific Northwest and Philadelphia where she worked as a speech pathologist. Now, Walter says she returned to make a difference and contribute to the local community in Cortland, which started with the Cortland Rural Cemetery.
Walter officially joined the Board of Trustees at the Cemetery’s back in April and is expected to serve for the Trustee’s standard term of three years.
