Organizers of yesterday’s job fair for employees losing their jobs at Voyant and ALPLA say it was an enormous success.
Scott Steve, Mayor of Cortland said there were 63 interested employers on hand to meet with 220 job seekers.
Cortland Mayor Scott Steve in a message to his Facebook page also thanked everyone involved, including the Cortland County Chamber of Commerce and Amy Buggs with the Cortland Works Career Center. He also thanked City and County organizations and businesses. He gave special thanks to the Cortland Enlarged City School District for providing translators.
