Volunteers Needed For Upcoming NY Special Olympics Winter Games


There is a need for 300 volunteer jobs to be filled for this year’s upcoming New York Special Olympic Winter Games, scheduled for February 23rd and 24th in the City of Syracuse.

It is expected this year’s games will bring over 500 Special Olympics New York athletes and coaches throughout the state. Venues in the Syracuse area will host competitions in four sports: Alpine Skiing, Figure Skating, Snowshoe, and Floorball (new for this year’s game).

Venues include: The Oncenter for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and Floorball, Greek Peak Mountain Resort for Alpine Skiing, Thornden Park for Snowshow, and Upstate Medical Arena at the Oncenter for Figure Skating.
