Volunteers Needed For Upcoming Homer Halloween Parade & Activities Following Parade

The Village of Homer Recreation Departments annual Halloween Parade will be taking place on Saturday, October 25th starting at 5:15pm at the Homer Town Hall, participants in the parade are asked to arrive by 4:45pm. The parade will march down Main Street from the Town Hall down towards the basketball courts between the Homer Fire Station and Homer American Legion.

Following the parade will be a Halloween Kids Zone from 5:30 to 7:30pm. It will include costume judging, bounce houses, family-friendly activities, and more on the basketball courts.

The Recreation Department is still looking for volunteers to help with the event. Volunteers are needed for parade staging and people to walk the parade route from 4:30 to 5:30, handing out cider and donuts at the kid zone from 5 to 7:30, chaperoning bounce house entrance and exits, and other tasks during the event.
