Devin Helmer of Cortland was previously told he couldn’t go into the 7-Eleven on Main Street, yet Cortland Police report there he was on Wednesday.
Officers say Helmer, who is 27, stole something, too.
Helmer faces a felony Burglary charge as well as Petit Larceny.
His next City Court date is March 30.
