Virtual meeting tonight on policing in Cortland County
Local News December 1, 2020A virtual meeting tonight hosted by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office will discuss how to improve policing in the community.
That’s part of the governor’s Police Reform Reinvention Collaborative.
Sheriff Mark Helms will first present on the inner-workings of his department.
There will also be time left at the end for questions.
Residents can also send inquiries to shempstead@cortland-co.org through December 31 for a written response.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. via Webex.
