Elijah Teeter, age 20, of Virgil, was arrested Wednesday (January 19) evening on felony charges of rape, endangering the welfare of a child, and sex abuse. Cortland County Sheriff’s deputies say the incidents occurred in the towns of Solon, Truxton, and Virgil.
Sheriff’s deputies said Teeter knew of his warrants for his arrest and turned himself in. The judge at his arraignment issued a Full Stay Away Order of Protection for the victim, and released Teeter to the Alternatives to Incarceration program.
Teeter is scheduled to appear in the Town of Truxton Court on 2/09/22 at 4pm, the Town of Solon Court on 2/09/22 at 6:30pm, and the Town of Virgil Court on 2/22/22 at 5:30pm.
