The Village of Homer is getting the word out to residents that beginning in May, the spring cleanup will begin with leaves and branch pickups.
The pickups will run through the entire month of May (1st-31st), and the village reminds residents the compost site is open and leaves and branches may be brought down.
The village asks residents not to place leaves or small branches at the curb before May 1st or after May 31st, as these will not be picked up and violate village codes.
