Holiday in Homer is this Saturday, July 15th, and the Village of Homer is ensuring anyone planning to visit the festival or the multiple other events slated for the village this summer, are aware of where to park.
For the Holiday in Homer Saturday, parking will be available at the Homer High School Back Lot, Homer Elks Lodge, Heyer Physical Therapy, and the Future Site of the Homer Linear Park on Route 11 (Homer Ave.). Shuttle service will be available every 15-20 minutes from these parking locations sponsored by the Homer Central School District.
Parking is not available at Homer elementary school or intermediate school due to the district’s ongoing capital improvements. Handicap parking is available close to the festival at the James Street Public lot, which will only allow those with a valid handicap placard or license plate to park.
