The Village of Homer Board of Trustees have received notice of a local business who plans of submitting an application for a dispensary license to the State’s Office of Cannabis Management.
Classy Canna LLC. which is located at 8 North Main Street within the Village is required to give notice to their local municipality 30 days before submitting an application. The set up for the store, if they are approved a dispensary license by the state, would have a gift shop type store in the front of the converted home and the dispensary separated and located in the rear of the building.
“This is just a courtesy heads-up.” Deputy Mayor Pat Clune said regarding the letter.
The location for the proposed dispensary was noted to meet the requirements for distance from schools and parks (500 feet).
