The cold weather have brought some good news for residents waiting to skate on the ice rink on the Village Green in the Village of Homer. The village has announced the ice rink is officially open as of 8:30 this morning.
A formal opening will take place later today. In the meantime, the village welcomes the public to skate on the rink.
