Village of Homer Confirms New Fire Chief and Deputy Chief

The Village of Homer has a new Fire Chief and Deputy after the Village Board of Trustees voted to approve the recent results of the Homer Fire Department elections that took place last Friday.




The newly named Fire Chief, Jay Riley, was previously serving the department as Deputy Chief. Doug VanEtten has now been named Deputy Chief for Homer Fire.

First Assistant Chief: Nate Stockwin
Second Assistant Chief: Jeremy Barber
Rescue Captain: Adam Burhans
Rescue Lieutenant: Amy Borst
President: Tim Maxson
Secretary: Richard Elmer
Treasurer: Randy McKay

The Vice President has not been announced yet by the Homer Fire Department.
