After founding and heading the organization for almost 10 years, founder and president of Veteran’s Search and Rescue, Norm Stitzel, announced that Matt Anderson, Marine and Iraq Veteran, will be taking over operations as President of Vet SAR.

Norm stated in an interview with X101 that the transition will take some time as he shows Matt the ins and outs of the organization which seeks to help Veterans in navigating the VA system and transitioning to civilian life. Matt had this to say about taking up the mantle of VET SAR.

“It’s an honor. He (Stitzel) built this from the ground up. So it’s something I’m taking the reigns of and there’s a plan set out and I just gotta get the resources where they need to go.” Matt said to X101.

We’ll be speaking more with Norm and Matt in July. Learn more about VET SAR at VETSAR.com.
