Veteran of The Year Named

The City of Cortland Office of Community Oriented Policing has announced this year’s Veteran of the Year during an event at the Community Restaurant on Main Street in Cortland.

This year’s Veteran of the Year is Clint Morse, who served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008-2013. During his time, he served as a member of the Presidential Security Detail that is associated with Marine 1.

Clint is currently the Varsity Wrestling Coach at Cortland High School and also runs the Wrestling Club for Cortland.

“Throughout [his] career in the military, his law enforcement service, and his dedication to local youth in the Cortland community, Clint had set an example with his actions, and conviction to his passions.” The Office of Community Oriented Policing said in a release.
