The reopening of North Tower Road has been delayed.
Cortland County highway department officials say it’s “due to unforeseen circumstances with a vendor, which are outside of our control.”
A message was sent out yesterday (September 2) using the county’s mobile alert system.
Tower Road is the site of ongoing major culvert repairs supported by grant funding from the state.
Completion of work is expected by mid-October. However, traffic will begin resuming next Monday (September 13).
