Many people who live in Homer have complained to the village about signs on utility poles.
Pat Clune is a member of the Village Board of Trustees. “If you’re having a garage sale, if you’re missing an animal, I got that, I think we all do. But there’s the time when they need to come down and that’s what we’re at right now.”
Clune and another village board member plan to take action Monday morning.
“It’s mostly these outside places or venues that are putting these signs up and they never come back to take them down, and it’s a distraction to people and it’s an eyesore,” said Clune.
Clune suggests if signs on utility poles in your neighborhood are a problem, call the village office and they’ll try to get there, or you may remove it yourself.
Clune welcomes anyone who wants to help to meet up Monday morning at 9:30 at the Town Hall.
