Updated guidance issued for pausing New York colleges
Local News February 22, 2021Updated COVID-19 guidance has been issued on New York’s college campuses.
Those testing at least 25% of all students, faculty and staff weekly are no longer required to go on pause unless their positivity rate go beyond five-percent during a rolling 14-day period.
All SUNY schools — including Cortland and TC3 — have been testing 100% of their communities weekly.
Rising cases from social gatherings at Cortland have led to its current system-high of 1.78%.
That’s still far below the new 5% threshold.
