The Village of Homer is providing an update on the ice skating rink and when the opening date may be. The village is asking residents to remain off the ice until it is officially open. The caution tape surrounding the rink is there to prevent people from using the rink.
The ice rink could possibly open tomorrow, the village states. Unfortunately, due to people ignoring the caution tape, issues have arisen that have delayed the opening of the rink so far.
