Update: Voters in Preble and Homer approved by unofficial 47-28 vote yesterday (February 8th), pending a count of mail in votes, a Protection and Rehabilitation District for Little York Lake in a public referendum yesterday.
The fate of a Protection and Rehabilitation District for Little York Lake is up to voters via public referendum tomorrow.
Approval is needed to form the district since it includes property in Preble and Homer. A preservation district can make it easier to reliably fund long term maintenance of the lake for all users.
Voting will be at Calvary Baptist Church on Route 281 in Preble from 6 am to 9 pm.
