On Saturday, more than 100 tri-athletes are espected at Dwyer Memorial Park in Little York.
They will participate in the 5th annual Cortland Tri to benefit the United Way.
The event includes swimming, biking and running.
Organizers say anyone who wants to participate may register prior to the event until Saturday at 8:30 am.

An ambitious group of volunteers will be helping to coordinate the tri, led by Race Director Jarrod Kolodziejczyk and Committee Chair Tim Alger.
The race will take place at Dwyer Park in Little York, with a swim in Little York Lake, a run through the trails of the park, and a bike course on the scenic country roads of Little York and Preble.
Course maps are available on the United Way website.
This year participants may compete in the Duathlon, a run-bike-run option for those who wish to forgo the swim portion.
Those interested in participating can sign up through 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
