Two Owego men who are wanted by the New York State Parole Board were arrested in Ithaca last week following a traffic stop on Elmira Road.
Deputies with the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office say they pulled over a white Volkswagen Passat just passed 2:30 Wednesday (August 14) morning and discovered that it was uninsured.
The occupants initially gave false names and addresses to the deputies, but were later identified as 29-year old Jory Ball and 25-year old Brendan Tierney.
In addition to the state parole warrant, Tierney also had warrants out from the Endicott Police Department.
Both were arraigned and remanded sent to Tompkins County Jail without bail.
