Two Teens Arrested After Pushing Shopping Cart Full Of Merchandise And Booze Out Of Store

According to a press release from the Cortland County’s Sheriffs Office, yesterday afternoon just before 5pm officers responded to the Cortlandville Walmart for a larceny complaint.

Jessica A. Raia, age 19 and Sarah T. Rein, age 20 are accused of stealing after they were caught pushing a shopping cart loaded with merchandise and alcohol, valued at over $400, out of the store.

Both were taken into custody, processed, and later released on appearance tickets.

The pair are due back in Cortlandville Court on September 11, 2017 at 1pm.
