Two Ithaca Residents Charged With Stealing From Walmart

Just after 5pm on Sunday, February 18th, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart in Cortlandville for a reported larceny that had taken place.

An investigation by officers found 23 year old Isaiah J. Foster and 26 year old Mariah L. Rose, both of Ithaca, had stolen merchandise from the store. The Sheriff’s Office also says the pair stole while in the presence of a child. Both Foster and Rose were arrested and charged with Petit Larceny, Conspiracy in the 6th, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, all Misdemeanors.

The pair were transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and arraigned via the Centralized Arraignment Process before being released on their own recognizance. Foster and Rose are due in Cortlandville Town Court next month.
