Guthrie Cortland Medical Center and the Guthrie Corning Hospital have been recognized nationally as part of Becker’s Great Community Hospitals list for 2023.
Both hospitals earned a spot on the list on their efforts in improving patient safety and quality care. Guthrie Cortland Medical Center also earned additional recognition for implementing technology to improve the quality of care it provides to its patients. This included the hospital’s state-of-the-art medical linear accelerator at the Renzi Cancer Center and the new PET CT scanner that is coming soon to the hospital.
