Two From Miami Florida Arrested Following Incident at Squeaky Clean Car Wash in Cortlandville

State Police say just before 11 in the morning on Friday, December 12th, Troopers were dispatched to the Squeaky Clean Car Wash at the corner of Route 281 and 222 for a disturbance.

Police say the call resulted in the arrest of two individuals, both from Miami Florida. Troopers arrested 38 year old Henry C. Monroe Jr. and 35 year old Chloe N. Glen. Both were charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd, a Felony.

State Police say an investigation found Monroe JR. and Glen were in a vehicle at the car wash when they got into a verbal altercation. Further investigation found they were in possession of a handgun and a magazine with ammunition for the handgun. State Police say neither had a NYS Pistol Permit.

Both Monroe Jr. and Glen were taken to the State Police Barracks at Homer for processing and then turned over to the Cortland County Jail for Centralized Arraignment. Officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office also assisted on scene.
