Two people were arrested on drug charges Friday (February 15), after police served a narcotics warrant at their residence on Kingsley Avenue in Cortlandville.
Fifty-four-year-old Byron James and 25-year-old Mickayla Miller were arrested after officers found about 10 grams of heroin, one gram of crack cocaine, one gram of methamphetamine, one gram of marijuana, and 110 pseudoephredine (Sudafed) pills during their search.
Police say they also located drug packaging material.
Both James and Miller were charged with a multitude of counts, including Criminal Possession, Conspiracy and possession of materials used to make methamphetamine.
That warrant was the result of an on-going drug investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and the Cortland County Drug Task Force.
They were assisted at the scene by officers from both Cortland and Homer Police Departments.
