National Grid was called to Greenbush Street near Randall Street in Cortland at about 7 am this morning (Tuesday) for a tree and some wires down.
They made the area safe on their arrival at about 8 am, and were working to restore service to a few customers.
NYSEG reports a few customers in the Clark Road/Stone Road area of Cincinnatus lost power this morning.
Reconnection could take until about 10:30 am, according to an estimate by the utility.
A couple of NYSEG customers on Dutcher Road in Freeville are also without NYSEG service Tuesday morning.
Several customers in the Bacher Rd/Woodworth Rd area of Spafford lost power this morning.
NYSEG says it’s investigating and hopes to restore service by 9:30.
Homer firefighters were called a little after 7 am to check a report of a tree down in the road on Locust Ave between the Albany St/Lighthouse Hill Rd intersection and the Cortland City Line.
Soon after, the Homer Chief reported a 2” branch was cleared and the road reopened at about 7:20 this morning.
