Several traffic advisories are in place this week across Cortland County, as highway officials work on several road projects expected to affect both the morning and afternoon commutes for area motorists.
Paving continues today on McGraw-Marathon Road, which has been brought down to one lane and is expected to cause delays from Irish Hill to the Marathon village line until work is complete.
Also today, Crains Mills Road will be closed between Pease Hill and Dog Hollow for the replacement of a large culvert pipe.
Due to the large size of the culvert, officials say that may push the closure into Wednesday afternoon.
Maybury road will be closed on Wednesday between East River and Bell Roads between 7 am and 3:30 pm for another culvert replacement.
So far, that closure is only expected to be in effect for the duration of Wednesday.
