A Syracuse man was arrested Friday after police searched his vehicle and found crack cocaine.
On Friday, State Police stopped a vehicle on I-81 in Preble. Troopers executed a search warrant on the vehicle and turned up approximately 14 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale and $1479.00 in cash.
The driver was identified as 21-year-old Tramond Wallace Jr. of Syracuse. Wallace was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Wallace was arraigned and sent to the Cortland County Jail in lieu of $10,000/$20,000 bail.
The Cortland County Drug Task Force assisted with the search warrant and arrest.
