Town of Tully Announces Public Hearing Regarding Two Proposed Local Laws on Large Wind Energy Districts & Zoning Laws

The Town of Tully says a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 7pm at the Tully Town Hall located at 5833 Meetinghouse Road, Tully, for two proposed local laws, No.3 & No.4 for 2025. Proposed local law No. 3 is in regard to amending town zoning related to large wind energy conversion overlay districts. Proposed local law No.4 would amend the town’s zoning laws regarding large wind energy conversion systems.

The public hearing will be held prior to the town’s regular Town Board meeting, which will be held immediately following the public hearings. The Town of Tully says the purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed amendment as it is submitted and hear all persons interested in the subject.

The Town of Tully says copies of both proposed local laws are available at the Town Hall on Meetinghouse Road during normal business hours.
