On Saturday, April 8th, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported disturbance in the Town of Willet.
Through an investigation conducted by officers, they were able to determine that the suspect in the disturbance, 55 year old Leslie J. Manasse of the Town of Triangle, had gotten involved in a verbal dispute with the victim. The victim in the disturbance also had an order of protection against Manasse.
Officers arrested Manasee and charged him with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Willet Town Court next month.
