Town of Scott Man Charged With Rape – Had Multiple Victims

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says they had received a report of sexual abuse that occurred between 2022 and 2024 at an undisclosed location within the Town of Scott. During the investigation, it was revealed 33 year old Lee A. Wagner of Scott, had subjected one victim to inappropriate sexual contact between the dates mentioned above. The victim knew Wagner, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Further investigation found Wagner also subjected a second victim to inappropriate sexual contact between 2019 and 2024. The second victim also knew Wagner.

Officer’s arrested Wagner on Thursday, February 13th on the charges of Predatory Sexual Assault, Rape in the 1st, Sexual Abuse in the 1st, 2 Counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the 1st, Assault in the 2nd, all Felonies. He was also charged with Misdemeanor charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Forcible Touching.

Wagner was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later arraigned via the Centralized Arraignment Process where he was remanded to Cortland County Jail on no bail. He is due in Scott Town Court later this month.
