Town of Homer Announces Special Town Board Meeting For Wednesday Regarding Billboards

The Town of Homer has announced an upcoming Special Town Board meeting for Wednesday, May 21st beginning at 6:30pm. The special meeting will be held at the Homer Town Hall at 31 North Main Street in the Village of Homer. 

The Town of Homer says the purpose of the special meeting is to discuss a proposed local law regarding the regulation of off-premises advertising (billboards). The town added in a public notice that the Town Board may take action as it deems appropriate in connection with the matter.

The special meeting is open to the public to attend with all interested parties encouraged to go.

The Town of Homer has been reviewing proposed billboard regulations for a number of years now. Last year, the Town Board voted to continue the billboard regulation process.
