Town of Cortlandville Seeking Input Regarding Both Solar & Battery Energy Storage Systems – Announces Listening Session For Wednesday
Now that the Town of Cortlandville has implemented a 6-month moratorium for both solar and battery storage projects within the town, the town wants to listen to its residents. The Town of Cortlandville’s Chair of the Solar and Battery Energy Storage System Committee will host a listening session on Wednesday at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building.
The listening session will take place beginning at 6:30pm at the Town Hall located at 3577 Terrace Road. Cortlandville is seeking public input as it prepares to update their solar energy systems and battery storage systems laws.
Feedback from community members, the town says, will help guide them to future policies on important community issues. All residents are encouraged to share their thoughts.
